A rare white felspathic stoneware Lord Nelson commemorative rectangular box and cover, circa 1800, of Castleford type, moulded in relief with two oval panels, one depicting trophies of war and inscribed 'Patriots', the other with Britannia and a muse, inscribed 'Howe and Nelson', each against a blue ground, within blue line edging to the sides, height 14.5cm (lid cracked).
