LOT 1809
A mid-19th century period bandsman's shortsword with double-edged staggered fullered blade, blade length 50.5cm, cast brass hilt, the grip detailed '52' (probably associated with the 52nd Light Infantry), the pommel detailed with a lion's head and with loose fitting ring suspension, with a brass mounted leather scabbard (defective).
