An early Victorian figured mahogany regulator longcase clock, the brass eight day four pillar movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, the 12½ inch silvered brass circular dial with outer Arabic minutes framing subsidiary seconds and hours, inscribed 'J. Nelson London', the arched hood with moulded pediment above a circular glazed door and cut corners, the trunk with cut corners and glazed arch door, on a panelled base and plinth, height 202.8cm, with mercury pendulum, brass weight, case keys and winding key.
