An Italian faience trompe l'oeil plate, early 20th century, painted with flowers and surmounted by an onion, mussels and broccoli, painted marks to reverse, diameter 24cm, a similar plate, applied with biscuits, and a small group of other novelty ceramic food items, comprising boxes and covers in the form of a peanut, an éclair, a salami and a cup cake, bananas, a slice of cake on a plate and a small basketweave trompe l'oeil dish.
