AUTOGRAPHS. A collection of approximately 87 autograph and typed letters signed, the majority addressed to Maurice Bradshaw and his contemporaries from various artists, including letters from Augustus John, Feliks Topolski, Carel Weight, John Bratby, William Strang, Ray Evans, Pietro Annigoni, William Russell Flint, L.S. Lowry, Alfred Munnings, Laura Knight and Eric Gill, together with a group of clipped signatures, mostly of artists. Note: Maurice Bradshaw OBE was Director of the Art Exhibitions Bureau and secretary to numerous art societies, including the Royal Society of British Artists, and Society of Marine Artists.
