A George III oak longcase clock with mahogany crossbanding, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted breakarch dial with scene of a seated girl and bird to arch above Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, inscribed 'Clarke, Long Buckby', the hood with swan neck pediment and fluted columns, the rectangular trunk door with shell paterae inlay, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 237cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder.
