A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted mahogany balloon cased bracket clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the backplate with 'B & W' maker's mark, the cream chapter ring with black Arabic hour numerals framing a gilt foliate centre roundel, the case applied with mask surmount above rococo scrolls and trellis, on pierced scroll feet, height 40cm, with matching bracket, pendulum and winding key (missing a back leg and other faults).
