LOT 1280
A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain clock garniture, the mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the porcelain rectangular dial with black Roman hours and painted with Watteau scenes of figures in gardens within blue and gilt borders, the porcelain side panels similarly painted, the case with turned finials and columns, on a moulded plinth base and turned feet, height 46cm, with pendulum (one side panel cracked), together with a pair of matching four branch five light candelabra, height 41.5cm.
