First edition in English, 8vo (222 x 135mm.) Frontispiece portrait of the author, tissue-guard, folding map in colour, 31 plates, numerous illustrations. (Mild spotting to preliminaries.) Original orange pictorial cloth, gilt lettering to spine (lightly bumped to spine ends).
