Portrait frontispiece of the author, tissue-guard, 28 plates, numerous illustrations, folding map in colour to the rear. (Mild toning.) Original pictorial cloth, gilt lettering to upper cover and spine (lightly bumped to spine ends). Provenance: Alec P. Selby (gift inscribed to on the front-free endpaper).
