SUSSEX. - L.F. SALZMANN. The History of the Parish of Hailsham. Lewes: Farncombe & Company, 1901. First edition, 8vo (214 x 138mm.) Folding map as frontispiece, 1 folding genealogy, 13 plates. (Light spotting to preliminaries, toning, stamps verso of the title.) Original green cloth, gilt lettering to spine (bumped to spine ends, label remains to base of spine). Provenance: Worthing Public Library (bookplates to the pastedowns). - And a further thirty-six volumes relating to Battle and Battle Abbey (including the Duchess of Cleveland's 'The Battle Abbey Roll', 3 vols., 1889, 8vo) (37).
