London: for John Stockdale, 1806. 3 vols. only, second edition, folio (429 x 247mm.) 41 folding maps, 2 single sheet maps, 70 plates, 8 folding plates including 1 folding genealogy. (Occasional browning, spotting to margins and verso of plates.) Near contemporary brown half-morocco (rebacked, endpapers replaced, rubbing to all extremities. Note: volume 2, 3, and 4 only. Provenance: George Herbert (ink name to initial blanks); Worthing Public Library (bookplates to front pastedowns).
