A Victorian 1821 pattern light cavalry officer's sword by W. Jones & Co, 236 Regent St, London, with single-edged fullered blade with double-edged tip, blade length 89.5cm, engraved with 'VR' cypher, detailed 'The King's Royal Irish 8th Hussars' and monogrammed for Charles Henry Gregg with family crest, triple-bar hilt and wire bound fishskin covered grip (lacking scabbard), with some research paperwork.
