PHOTOGRAPHS. An album containing approximately 113 photographs, the majority relating to the early military career of Major General William Scott Cole while at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, from 1920-1923, the photographs various sizes and mounted 2 or more to a page, leaves 23.5cm x 30cm, the photographs depict recruits training, gun drills, bridging courses, parades, hunting and other scenes, some of civilian life, many annotated, together with another album of photographs relating to the Hungarian army, circa 1940.
