LOT 1153
An early 19th century ebonized bracket clock, the eight day chain driven twin fusee movement with verge escapement striking hours on a single bell, the finely engraved backplate incorporating the Prince of Wales feathers, the repainted break arch dial with strike/silent indicator to arch, above black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic quarters and inscribed 'George Carruthers London', the case with single pad top and brass carry handle above a moulded arch pediment, glazed doors and sides, on a rectangular plinth base, height 47cm, with key (pull repeat lever missing).
