LOT 1158
A mid-19th century brass lyre framed skeleton clock timepiece with single chain fusee movement, the silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and signed 'Row Alton', the frame of lyre form, on an ebonized base with glass dome, height of frame 19.5cm, total height 29.5cm, with pendulum. Note: it is presumed this skeleton timepiece is by Mrs Ann Row of Alton, who is recorded between 1839 and 1848, rather than her sons who followed her into the business.
