An early 19th century mahogany trunk dial wall clock timepiece with weight driven eight day single train movement, the repainted circular dial mounted on a false plate, with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'B. Russele Norwich', the octagonal hood and rectangular trunk door with boxwood stringing, height 112.5cm, with pendulum and weight (glass cracked). Note: Benjamin Russell is recorded as a clockmaker working in Norwich between 1812 and 1888.
