A mid-19th century French Jacob Petit porcelain cased mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped with 'Raingo Freres' mark, the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals, the rococo scroll moulded porcelain case and integral stand painted with floral panels within blue and gilt borders, underglaze blue 'JP' maker's mark, height 37.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.
