A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted white marble Marie Antoinette style mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular brass embossed dial inset with enamel hour plaques displaying black Roman numerals, the lyre shaped case with sunburst mask and festoon surmount above a colourless paste set pendulum and dial surround, on an oval base and toupie feet, height 40cm, with a winding key.
