A painted tavern style wall timepiece, the eight day single fusee movement with deadbeat escapement, the painted circular dial with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, inscribed 'Handley & Moore Clerkenwell', the later burgundy and cream painted oak case detailed '1804' in gilt above 'H & M' monogram to trunk door, height 116cm, with pendulum and case key.
