A late 19th century French oval four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with 'C & S' maker's mark, the two piece enamel dial with Brocot escapement above a mercury compensated pendulum, the oval case with bevelled and curved glass panels, on a stepped base, height 29.5cm (lacking bell).
