A late 19th century French gilt brass and porcelain table clock with eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a bell, the backplate signed 'J. Silvani a Paris' and with stamped Japy Frères mark, the porcelain circular dial with gilt Roman numerals within an iron red and gilt surround, the case of Gothic form with cluster knop stem above a circular base inset with porcelain panels, on six turned feet, height 30cm, with pendulum.
