A Victorian mahogany drop dial wall timepiece with brass eight day circular plated single fusee movement, the 13-inch painted circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'J.W. Benson, Ludgate Hill London', with cast brass bezel and bevelled glass, the surround carved with a laurel wreath, the rectangular case with two side doors and door to base, height 63cm, case diameter 46cm, with pendulum (restoration).
