An early 20th century American Mission Arts and Crafts oak framed armchair, designed by Harvey Ellis for Gustav Stickley, the triple-bar back above a drop-in seat and arched seat rails, on block legs, height 103cm, width 62cm, depth 53cm. Note: the same chair design is illustrated in 'Warman's Art & Crafts Furniture' by Mark F. Moran, page 35.
