LOT 1884
A 1914-18 British War Medal and a 1914-19 Victory Medal to '820654 Pte.S.Weston. 52-Can.Inf', a Canadian Memorial Cross, George V issue, named '820654 Pte.S.Weston' and detailed 'Sterling', a Canadian Medal, detailed 'In commemoration of Sid Weston who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1914-18…', detailed to the rim 'Berks Sterling', a base metal identity bracelet, detailed 'S.Weston. C.O.E 820654 52 Bn. Canadians', and a base metal brooch badge, detailed 'Gloire Aux Allies', with a box. Note: Sid Weston died on 1st December 1917 and is remembered with honour at the Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension.
