A Continental porcelain rectangular snuff box, probably Meissen, late 18th/early 19th century, gilt metal mounted and painted to the exterior with scattered insects and flowers, the underside of the lid painted in purpurmalerei with a landscape view of a shepherd and shepherdess, 7cm x 4cm x 5cm (faults).
