A late 19th/early 20th century French brass and porcelain carriage clock with eight day movement repeating and striking hours and half hours on a gong, the backplate stamped 'JWB', the porcelain dial painted with flowers on a pink ground, framing a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals and inscribed 'J.W. Benson LD, 25 Old Bond St London', flanked by a pair of similarly decorated porcelain side panels, the case with swing handle, on bracket feet, height 15.4cm, with a leather travelling case, detailed 'J.W. Benson...', and winding key.
