LOT 1140
A late 19th/early 20th century French brass cased carriage clock, the eight day movement repeating and striking hours and half hours on a gong, the cream chapter ring with Arabic hour numerals within a finely pierced and engraved foliate scroll surround, flanked by a pair of similarly decorated side panels, the glazed case with swing handle above fluted and horizontally ribbed corner columns, on turned feet, height 19.2cm, with leather travelling case and winding key.
