A mid-20th century brass circular cased Admiralty pattern ship's timepiece, the eight day movement with platform escapement, the 8-inch painted dial with inner hour dial and outer minute track, slow/fast indicator and centre seconds and inscribed 'Smiths Astral AP160174', the case with bevelled glass hinged bezel, centre seconds start/stop button and hand set button to sides, case diameter 26.5cm, with key.
