LOT 1178
A mid-19th century French comtoise or morbier wall alarm clock, the eight day movement with verge escapement striking on a bell, the circular enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and subsidiary alarm dial and inscribed 'Camisier à Sulliac', the arched brass front embossed with a sunburst mask, wheat and grapes and inscribed 'Hora Fugit', height 39cm, with folding pendulum, two weights and two replacement alarm weights.
