WALES. - Thomas TURNER. Narrative of a Journey, Associated with a Fly, from Gloucester to Aberystwith, and from Aberystwith Through North Wales. London: for private distribution, 1840. Signed by the author, 8vo (227 x 134mm.) Portrait frontispiece, 11 engraved plates. (Toning, occasional pencil mark.) Later black morocco-backed green cloth (endpapers replaced), later green cloth-covered slip-case. Provenance: John Stevens (gift inscribed to on the front blank). - And a further illustrated volume ('Original Topographical & Antiquarian Delineations of Great Britain', 1817, 8vo) (2).
