WHITE, Gilbert. The Natural History of the Selborne. London: for White, Cochrane, Longman, Hurst et al., 1813. 2 vols. New edition, 8vo (213 x 132mm.) Hand-coloured frontispiece of 'The Hybrid Bird', 3 engraved plates. (Offsetting from plates, occasional spotting.) Near contemporary green full morocco, repeating foliate between rectangular gilt borders to covers, two red morocco lettering pieces to the spines, gilt turn-ins (rubbing to extremities, and wear to spine of volume two). - And a further related volume ('Selborne Society Letters', 1887, 8vo) (3).
