Numerous engraved plates and illustrations in the text. (Toning.) Contemporary brown morocco over marbled paper-covered boards (rubbing to extremities). Provenance: R.W. Lloyd (bookplate to front pastedown); Robert Hutchinson (bookplate to the front pastedown). - And a further twenty-six leatherbound volumes (including Elisha Kent Kane's 'Arctic Explorations… in Search of Sir John Franklin', 1869, 8vo) (29).
