Inscribed by Queen Mary and dated 1947, folio (376 x 268mm.) 40 colour lithographed plates, descriptive text for each, numerous illustrations. (Toning, 11 leaves loose, including the first 6.) Original green, red and gilt pictorial cloth (damp-staining to upper cover and spine, rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Clive Wigrave (inscribed to on the front free endpaper).
