A Samson bonbonnière in the Chelsea style, late 19th century, modelled as a mating cockerel and hen above a hinged base, painted to the exterior with a strutting cockerel and a floral bouquet to the interior, underglaze blue factory mark, length 8.3cm (glued repair to tail feathers).
