A Yorkshire Prattware cow and cowman group, circa 1800-20, the standing cow with ochre patches outlined in black, standing on a rectangular mound base surmounted by a standing male figure and a recumbent calf, height 15.4cm (faults to base). Note: this group is similar to those by the pottery that used a large impressed crown mark. A similar pair is illustrated by John and Griselda Lewis in 'Pratt Ware', p.87.
