A 19th century Indian tulwar with overall gold damascened decoration, the slightly inward curved single-edged blade with pierced 'Tears of Allah' back, blade length 72cm, the iron handle with elephant's head pommel and tiger knucklebow, both the elephant and tiger with inset coloured stone eyes (overall rusty and worn surface, lacking scabbard).
