							LOT 1120
                A Regency brass inlaid mahogany bracket clock with brass eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the repainted circular dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Saml Moginie Pimlico', the case with brass pineapple finial above a pair of lion mask and loose ring handles and pierced scale fret panels to the sides, the front with brass inlaid foliate scrolls and ebonized banding, on a plinth base and brass ball feet, height 57.5cm, with pendulum (alterations and restoration). Note: Samuel Moginie is recorded in 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World' by Brian Loomes as working in Pimlico, London, between 1820 and 1851.
