A mid to late 19th century French ormolu mounted portico clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Le Pautil a Paris', the nine rod pendulum with cast rosette bob, the silvered circular dial with Roman hour numerals, within a cast foliate ormolu surround, the case with rectangular pediment, four turned columns and plinth base with boxwood line inlaid decoration, on turned bun feet, height 49.5cm, with ebonized stand and glass dome, total height 63.5cm.
