A 19th century Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch square brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring framing a floral engraved centre with silvered subsidiary seconds and date aperture, all beneath a silvered boss to arch, inscribed 'John MacRae Glasgow', the hood with moulded arch pediment, reeded columns and glazed door, the arched trunk door with crossbanding, on a similarly decorated base and bracket feet, height 215cm, with pendulum and two weights.
