A Minton porcelain Coalbrookdale floral encrusted plate, mid-19th century, piled high with an arrangement of fruit and flowers within a pierced gilt edged rim, crossed swords mark in underglaze blue to base, diameter 20cm (faults). Note: the design for this 'Perforated plate' is illustrated by Geoffrey Godden, 'Coalport & Coalbrookdale Porcelains', p.308, pl. 235 A.
