EUCLID. The Elements…the Errors, by which Theon, or Others, have long Vitiated these Books, are Corrected, and Some of Euclid's Demonstrations are Restored. Also the Book of Euclid's Data…corrected by Robert Simpson. Edinburgh: J. Nourse, 1772. Fourth edition, 8vo (205 x 126mm.) 3 folding plates to rear. (Browning, some spotting, lacking initial blank.) Contemporary calf (rubbing, lacking lettering piece). Provenance: Chatham Library Dockyard (stamp to last leaf). - And a further fifteen volumes (including 'The Spectator', 8 vols., 1753, 8vo) (16).
