A late 19th century French brass cased carriage alarm clock with eight day movement repeating and striking hours and half hours on a gong, the backplate stamped 'E.G.L. Paris', the enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and subsidiary alarm dial, the corniche case with bevelled glass panels and swing handle, height 16.5cm, with winding key.
