A Victorian 1821 pattern volunteer artillery officer's sword by C.H.S. Nuke, Hastings, the curved single-edged fullered blade detailed with 'VR' cypher and 'Volunteer Artillery' with cannon, blade length 81.5cm, the triple-bar hilt with wire-bound fishskin grip, with steel scabbard.
