An early 20th century nickel plated Merryweather type fireman's helmet with dragon-decorated comb, applied badge with crossed axes and leather-lined chain chinstrap and lining, height 26cm, together with an associated portrait postcard, detailed to the reverse '7th Dec 1918. Silver medallists Wellingborough Fire Brigade, with Captain. 6 members with 144½ years' service'.
