LOT 1105
A late 19th/early 20th century French lacquered brass carriage clock by Margaine of Paris, with eight day movement striking hours and half hours and repeating on a gong, the backplate with stamped maker's mark and numbered '13798', the circular enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, inscribed 'ExamD by Dent, 61 Strand, London', within a matt brass surround, the glazed case with swing handle above bevelled glass panels, fluted and foliate corner columns and applied foliate scrolls, on a stepped base and bracket feet, height 17cm, with winding key.
