LOT 1233
A mid-18th century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 11-inch square brass dial with matt centre, subsidiary seconds and silvered date aperture, the chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Mason HALIFAX', cornered with mask and scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment, glazed door and fluted columns, the trunk with shaped door, on a plain base and plinth, height 202.5cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder.
