A mid-20th century brass circular cased ship's timepiece, the jewelled movement with platform escapement and inscribed 'Smiths Astral... ', the dial reverse numbered '1568', the signed painted circular dial with Roman hour numerals and slow/fast indicator, the case with glazed front door, diameter 23.3cm.
