A late 19th century French ebonized and red tortoiseshell boule cased mantel clock, the two train eight day movement with silk suspension striking on a bell via an outside countwheel with pull repeat mechanism, the enamelled dial with Roman hour numerals, the rectangular case with inlaid foliate scroll decoration, height 37.5cm, with pendulum (some faults).
