A collection of forty-eight Victorian microscope specimen slides, all with green or red paper covers decorated in gilt, mostly entomological and zoological, including 'Hair of Mouse', 'Hair of Stoat', 'Wing of Bee' and 'Hair of Caterpillar', contained within a mahogany case with nine removable trays (some faults).
